StashBelt is a partnership between African artisans and Canadian entrepreneurs. We believe in trade not aid, empathy not pity.

Starting off at a small workshop near Kikomba Market in Nairobi, Kenya, we provide on-the-job training and competitive wages in a country where human development is hampered by chronically high unemployment. We leverage Kenya's abundant, graze-fed leather and untapped human potential to create high-quality products, then send a portion of profits into Kenyan business start-ups to pay forward our success!

For the whole story (and tips for fellow entrepreneurs), check out our Stash Blog and follow us on Twitter!

Believing that only grassroots wealth creation can raise nations and individuals from the cycle of poverty, StashBelt was formed to raise the standard of living of all involved.
